Revelations of a Demon's Past: Chapter One

Chapter One: The Visit

It was a bright sunny morning at the Phantomhive manor and everyone was busy with their work. All except for the young earl who was still in bed.

The head butler of the manor knocked on the young lord's door before entering his room.

"Young Master, it is time for you to wake up." said Sebastian as he opened the window curtains to let some sun light in.

Ciel groaned as he slowly sat up in bed, "What is my schedule for today?"

Sebastian got his young masters' clothes ready and then started to help him get dressed. "Today you have a meeting with the Lord Trancy and will be discussing his new position as the vice-president of your company."

Ciel shuddered at the mention of Alois Trancy's name an started to have a mini series of flashbacks.

~Start Flashback~

Alois dressed as a maid and hitting on Ciel so he could trap him and then kill him.

Alois standing next to his butler, Claude, while announcing his obsession with Ciel.

Alois trying to kill him multiple times.

Alois…Alois….Alois….

~End Flashback~

"Young Master? Are you feeling well?" asked Sebastian when he noticed Ciel's terrified expression.

Ciel blinked and nodded. Although he could not deny to himself that Alois did frighten him to some degree, he would NEVER admit that to anyone else and therefore he would just have to face his worst living nightmare.

>30 Minutes Later<

Ciel had just finished his very delicious breakfast that Sebastian had prepared for him when Alois ran inside the manor without even knocking.

"Ciiiieeellll!!!" yelled Alois as he ran at full speed towards Ciel but fortunately before he made it to his target, his butler Claude stopped him.

"Claude, get out of my way. I want to properly greet my new boss." said Alois with a mischievous look on his face.

Claude moved out of the way but did not let Alois go near Ciel for he knew that if he let Alois do as he pleased, his plans for taking Ciel would be ruined.

"Everything is ready in the drawing room for your meeting to commence. Please follow me." said Sebastian as he started to walk away.

Everyone followed Sebastian and once Ciel and Alois were taken care of, they were left alone to discuss "business" issues.

As soon as the door to the drawing room closed, Claude attacked Sebastian. He was determined to get Sebastian out of his way so he could have the delicious soul of Ciel Phantomhive all to himself and would stop at nothing to achieve his goal.

Sebastian expected something like this so he was not surprised by Claude's attack (and really it takes A LOT to surprise him). He was no way in hell going to let the likes of Claude and his bipolar master take him away. Hell would freeze before that ever happened!

>Inside the manor<

While Sebastian and Claude were engaging in yet another fight, Ciel and Alois were talking about business matters. Well, at least Ciel was trying to talk but Alois would keep cutting him off and start talking about unrelated things like "butterflies, killing, rainbows, killing, ponies, killing". Every time Ciel would stop Alois from talking and tried to get back to important things, Alois would suddenly snap and get all depressed and at one point almost sat in a corner and rocked back and forth.

Ciel groaned and thought: "If I have to endure this for much longer I will either kill him or go insane as well!"

Ciel gave up on trying to get Alois to pay attention. He waited for the perfect moment when Alois wasn't paying attention and then quickly left the room. He hated the fact that Alois was now vice president and hated the day and the way it happened.

~Start Flashback~

"I won this chess match so I get to be the new vice president." exclaimed Alois with an 'in your face' type of attitude.

"You clearly cheated which is why you won and this is not chess, its checkers." said Ciel as he replayed the game in his mind.

The truth in the matter was the Alois had won fair and square. The only problem was that Alois had insisted on playing checkers instead of chess because "chess made him upset". So he tricked Ciel into playing checkers with him by taunting him about.

"I did not cheat! You're just embarrassed that I beat you, the lord of games, at checkers, the easiest game ever." laughed Alois.

~End Flashback~

Ciel was in desperate need for something sweet to eat so he made his way to the kitchen to see what yummy dessert Sebastian had made. Sometimes he thought that Sebastian was trying to make him get fat (luckily he somehow doesn't gain weight).

Sebastian sensed that his young master was wondering towards the kitchen so he needed to quickly end the fight. He threw his sharpest knife right at Claude's face and then ran to the kitchen. Claude blocked the knife from hitting his face but still got cut on his hand. He figured why Sebastian had left and knew that it was time that he and his "highness" left.

Claude retrieved Alois, who hadn't noticed that Ciel was gone and was still talking, and then made their way out of the manor without saying a word. As they were leaving, Pluto saw them and ran towards them ready to attack. Pluto knew that Claude hated Sebastian so that automatically made him the enemy.

Alois screamed like a little girl and jumped into Claude's arms. Claude jumped out of the way just as Pluto was about to crush them with his massive paw. Without looking back, Claude held on tight to Alois and then ran.

Pluto was feeling very proud of himself for defending the manor that he felt like he deserved a treat so he transformed into a human form and then ran to the kitchen. As he was running he saw something move quickly out of the corner of his eye. Thinking that it was Claude again he transformed back and quickly started to chase it. When he finally cornered the intruder he saw that I was a cat and his dog instincts kicked in. Soon he was chasing the cat until he caught it with his mouth.

The cat meowed really loud when Pluto caught it. Sebastian dropped everything that he was doing and in a matter of seconds was next to Pluto nearly killing him for injuring the cat. Sebastian took the cat from Pluto's mouth and saw that it was a pretty midnight black female cat with the most mesmerizing eyes. After a quick inspection, Sebastian saw that the cat wasn't badly injured. He was about to cuddle with it when the cat hissed and scratched him right across the chest before running away.

Stunned by what had just happened, Sebastian slowly got up and went back inside. Thinking that the scratch would soon disappear since he could heal nearly instantly, he didn't bother looking at how bad the damage was. All that was on his mind now was what he was going to prepare for dinner.
